The Law
|The Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA) states that it is unlawful to discriminate against a disabled person in failing to comply with its provisions. Though initially the Act did not specifically mention online services or websites the consensus has been that it could be applied to them.
With this information in mind I used the services of www.openeyed.co.uk to check my site and help me with my accessibility statement online.
